Feel Better Anna

Ok Pat, What's up with the stitching? Although I have my sewing machine near me in the dining room. It has collected dust just like it did when it was in the closet, but at least I took it out of the closet. One of these days, I'll actually sew on a card, I really do love how it looks but for now, yes ladies I cheated and used these gorgeous papers I found at Micheal's that already have "Real" stitching on them. Hey, if the shoe fits, well you know the rest of the saying.

I decided to make this card and alter this book for one of the teachers I work with who was diagnosed with breast cancer and just had a mastectomy. She went every year for her mammogram so it came quite as a shock. This nurse is perfect for a get well card and you can find her HERE

I also found this book at Michael's, and I love altering them and of course went back for a couple more. Hey they were only $1.50 and make such a nice gift.

So here is a picture of the Book:

A picture of the Card:

And of course my angle shot:

I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts which you can find HERE and the ribbon from The Ribbon Girl which you can find HERE

I hope I inspired someone to join in on the fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with, just don't for get to use one of Mo's images. If you need more inspiration don't forget to visit the rest of the teams blogs they really out did themselves and came up with some great ideas just click HERE to see what they came up with and as Pat always says, don't forget to leave them a little love.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:
1. Pile it On - HERE Fuzzy Friend - well my Teddy Bear counts
2. Make it Monday - HERE Always Anything Goes
3. Pollycraft Monday - HERE BINGO
4. The Cutie Pie Challenge - HERE Ribbons and Lace
5. Cooking it up with Kate: HERE Pink Poises and Pearls
6. Papertake: HERE Button, Bows, Bling and Blooms

Image: Mo's Digital Image: Nurse Sentiment:
Paper: Stampin Up: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery,Rose Red, DS: K&Company
Extras: Memory Box Die, SU Punch, Doohicky Die, Nestibilities,
Image Colored with Copics and Prisma Pencils

As always, thanks for stopping by my part of the world, and now that you're here why not leave me a little love as well your comments mean so much and always brighten my day.

Hugs
Debbie

They're both just wonderful Debbie! I guess I'm going to have to get some of those little books and alter them. I've never tried that, but they're sooo cute! Both designs are wonderful and I love all the little extras on the card. Hugs!

Your're a good friend. I hope she is going to be OK. The card was a wonderful idea and so cute. I have a love hate relationship with my sewing machine, so I can relate to the dust.

Don't feel bad I don't even have a sewing machine. This is super cute and would make anyone feel better.

Hey Debbie! How are you sweetie, how's New York at this time of the year? Hope you are having some snow:) I'm so happy we finally have it that I would share it with everybody:)
Your altered book and card are both gorgeous; sorry to hear about your friend; health problems always make me sad, even if they happen to people I don't know. Hope all the best for her.
You make so beautiful cards, they are always a joy to look at and would brighten anyone's day. This one is no exception.
Wish you a great rest of the week hun!
Hugs, Iulia
