Once again it's my turn to host this weeks challenge, and I thought since we all like to add pretty things to our cards, why not Bling it On. Sassy Cheryl

Well it's the wearing of the green here in New York today, and I sure in your neck of the woods as well. It's St. Patrick's Day and we are all Irish for the day. I am anxiously awaiting my Irish Soda Bread hot out of the oven. It should be down soon... I can't wait. Over at Sassy Cheryl, the theme this week is green and what better image than this adorable little girl playing the fife called Saint Patrick's Day Patty that you can find HERE. All the paper is from my stash, the flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and ribbon and twine from The Ribbon Girl.

so without further adieu, here is my version of the wearing of the green.

Baby Blankets & Tags

It's my turn to host this weeks challenge and once again I tried to keep it as easy as I could so I thought buttons and bows. Now for those of you who remember, I am bow challenged, and couldn't tie a bow for the life of me, still can't. Then I found this Bowdabra thing at Michael's and viola, I'm making bows. and now I can't stop. I'm adding bows to everything. Ok enough of my rambling back to this weeks challenge. Just use one of Mo's adorable images add a button and bow and you're good to go.

Since, I have lots of new babies heading my way this year, two of my nieces are expecting, one we know is a boy, one we don't know what it will be, so it will be a surprise. I am knitting up a storm. Plus one for one of the teachers at work and the Assistant Principals daughter are also expecting. Out of the four pregnancies, three are due in July and one is due in September. So I thought what better way to tie the blankets off than to make these tags . I took out my Cricut Expression and used my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge and cut these tags at 6", and printed the image on them using this beautiful image called New Baby that you can find HERE.

Here are three blankets blankets,

Here are the close ups of the Tags:

3D Trianagle Cards Try something new

I saw one of these cards on an earlier Mo post and fell in love with it, My inspiration can be found HERE I had to make one, and knew it would be perfect for this weeks challenge "Try Something New". But alas the entire post was in French and it didn't have instructions. But then something stood out, and I saw something that looked like a link, so I clicked, and Ta Da it was the link with the directions.

But guess what, they were in French and no translation button. But numbers are numbers, and measurements are measurements, and after all she does have a picture tutorial and I am visual. So after all that is said and done, here is my take on the 3D Triangle Card. I just made mine a little bit bigger.

So here is my recipe plus the link so you too can have the visual of how to place the 3 squares: HERE (Hers are 5 x 5 for the cardstock and 4 3/4 and 4 3/4 for the patterned pape).

3 pieces of Card stock at 6 x 6 - Score Diagonal
3 pieces of Pattern Paper at 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 cut at diagonal
1 piece of Velco so you can fold it flat if you choose to mail it.

And, I bet you guys didn't know I could read French..
