Halloween Treat Boxes

Taylor my son's girlfriend and I decided we would craft and make these coffins for Halloween. Let me tell you what a conversation starter these were when people asked us what we did today?, and we answered, We made coffins. You had to see the look on their faces. Especially when one of them said, You do realize I am an ex-New York City Police Officer and currently a a Sheriff in New Jersey. Then we showed him what we made...lol Anyway, these are the two that we made for her nieces. We really had a great time making them and can't wait to craft and bond again. We are really looking forward to it.

This one we did with ghosts, this is the top of the box:

With so many holidays and celebrations coming up I choose Halloween especially with it right around the corner. DT Post #105 Favorite Image

Elaine OK favorite image, another challenge for me since I love them all. How can I pick a favorite when they are all so cute. If I ever hit lottery, I would buy every single image in Mo's collection cause they are all my favorite. So as always, the hardest part for me is to pick just one.

So in the end, I decided to use Hoppin Happy which you can find HERE I thought she was perfect for my girlfriends birthday card, so since this is for my BFF Susie you know what that means, she gets a matching box...

So here is what I came up with

the card and the box:

How Much is That Doggie In the Window -Mo's DT Post #104

It's still Elaine's turn to host and this weeks theme is "Inspired By A Song" Elaine, I must say you've really challenged me so far, I was going to do it really easy this time, and pick "Happy Birthday" but that was a little too easy and after all this is a challenge. Then I remembered that song "How Much Is That Doggie In the Window" and decided to use "It's All in the Accessories" especially since it looks just like my Ginger. Ginger is a special member of the family who came into our lives 11 years ago and is a rescue dog, we have no idea how old she really is she has a little gimp in her leg, but who cares, we love her just the same. She is a great companion for my hubby and is all of 8 pounds, a tiny little thing, but has that Napoleon complex and thinks she is 10 feet tall and protects us like she is a pit bull. Anyway, you can find that adorable image HERE and HERE

I made this for my Mom who 80th Birthday is a few days she keeps trying to steal Ginger by sticking her in the seat of her walker..lol and yes, Ginger does give us that evil eye look sometimes, and we know to move our hand very quickly..

Of course I had to make a matching box, I used my scallop punch and tried to make it look like a canopy over the window of the pet shop and this is what I came up with.

the card and the box:

and last but not least my angle shot.
