Gorjuss Sweet 16-Sketch Saturday #52

I have been sooooo busy this week that I haven't had time to even breathe. Between work and just every day life, I haven't been able to do anything. Then I saw today's Sketch Saturday, and this immediately came to mind for my son who has yet another Sweet 16 to go to tomorrow. What better image to use than one of these adorable Gorjuss Girls. They are perfect for any girl no matter how old.

Those Pesky Bats-Penny Black Saturday Challenge #49

I guess, I'm still in animal mode with this adorable kitty from Penny Black. This week over at the Saturday Penny Black Challenge the theme was 3 - 2 - 1. Which translates to 3 flowers, 2 pieces of paper, and 1 charm/brad. I've had these Halloween charms for ages and just never used them. So when I saw this weeks challenge, I knew I had to do a Halloween Card even though it's May. Hey one less to do in September, right.

This is a close up of the charm. It is the first time I've used a charm on a card. I didn't have any kind of chain which I've seen on so many cards so I used brown embrodery floss to hang the bat charm behind the prisma flower.

Stamp: Pesky Bats
Paper: Imaginisce-Hallowhimsy, Basic Black, Vanilla
Extras: Bat Charm, MS Branch Punch, MS Fench Punch, Buttons, Brad,
Copics: E42-Sand White, E57-Light Walnut, R00-Pinkish White, Rooo-Cherry White, BV-Soft Violet

As always, Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.

Just For You - Sketch Saturday #50

Not sure why, but I've been in animal mode lately, my last few cards have been cats and dogs. Hubby's birthday is at the end of the month, so I think I'll have my 15 year old give him this one, and make another one for my older son to give him. He'll be home for good next week as his 1st year of college comes to a close. Not sure if that is a blessing yet, but we'll see.

Stamp: Whipper Snapper-Just for You Cat - Senitment - Savy Stamps
Paper: Basic Grey-Arctiac
Extras: Button, Ribbon, Nesties,

Whiff of Joy Challenge #28

This week over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge, the winner will be a Guest Designer for 2 weeks. Threre are so many talented ladies entering, I don't think we will be disappointed with the choice. This weeks theme is Stars and Stripes. I used a Heidi Grace page kit that I purchased at a Scrapbook Convention in October and I feel the paper worked perfectly for Melinda. I know that spring is in the air, but I had to use the new Melinda image that I just received. The stars were cut with my Cricut using the Celebrations cartridge.
Thanks for looking ladies and I hope you like it
