Baby Bunny

A quick post from me tonight, this adorable image is from CC Designs called Butterfly. I thought he was the cutest with that butterfly on his nose I used my Cricut to cut the egg & the egg scallop behind the egg from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I colored him with my copics and once again made an easel card.

Magnolia Time..

The budget is closing at work so busy is an understatement, so my well intended cards for last weeks challenges had to be put on the back burner. They were started, but after 11 hours of OT, I was too poopped to pop when I came home from work to finish anything off. So hopefully since I have this week off, I'll be able to get some cards done because when I go back to work on the 7th, it will be crunch time once again

A close up:

The card was inspired by my dear friend Kris she has a knack for incorporating her Cricut with her stamping so, when I saw how she had Tilda sitting on this chair, I had to order the cartridge Sentimentals and of course some sitting Tildas... so talk about enableing..well she did a great job.

Thanks for looking...

Magnolia Down Under & Just Magnolia

Well, I know I've been AWOL for awhile.. but sometimes it's hard for me to find the time during the week to play...I did this card on Saturday which fits both Magnolia Challenges, but, I am just finding the chance to upload it now. Magnolia Down Under turns one this week so go check it out here
Here is a close up
The weather here was unbelievable, we had 75 mph winds which took down the scaffolding on my building, ripped fenching off the roof of the bulding across from me, We had a black out (glad I wasn't in the elevator or you would have heard me whatever state you were in) and the police had both buldings blocked off not allowing cars into the parking lot. trees down all over the place, flooding (well I'm on a peninsula so need I say more) wires are still down, so once I was in, I stayed in, I watched the waves re-claim the beach for as far as I could see from my terrace, the waves were under the boardwalk, and the rock jetty was almost completely submerged. After all that we have gorgeous weather today, in the 60's, wish I could play hookie and go see the parade down 5th Avenue. Happy St. Patricks Day everyone...

Happy St. Pat's Day

As many of you know, I live in an apartment building on the 10th floor. One of my scrapbook buddies lives on the 11th. She is Irish, I am Italian, and every year, believe it or not, I am the one that makes the Cornbeef & Cabbage and she comes down (much easier there is only 1 of her and I am alreay cooking for 4 so what's one more). But the best part of all is that when she comes down, I always get fresh out of the oven homemade Irish soda bread. She does it in an old cast iron pot. OMG it is soooooo good, we can't resist and have to rip off a piece put some butter on it and eat it right up. This year she will be in Florida on St. Pat's Day, but I am sure that since this Saturday is a scrapbook night she'll come down with a warm loaf. My mouth is watering already. Anyway, this card is for her.

A close up of the card. It honestly looks allot better in person. Guess the lighting wasn't that great.

Cherry Blossom Time

Since I had these papers out, and I loved the Saturday sketch so much, I had to do another card using this sketch. I thought these red papers were perfect for this image and I just had to get this card done. I am having so much fun playing with these beautiful images from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. Penny Black Week 90 - Happy Easter

This was one of the first stamps that I purchased when I began stamping a few years ago, and still remains a favorite. I did this for the Penny Black challenge and once again made an easel card.
