Magnolia Down Under & Just Magnolia

Well, I know I've been AWOL for awhile.. but sometimes it's hard for me to find the time during the week to play...I did this card on Saturday which fits both Magnolia Challenges, but, I am just finding the chance to upload it now. Magnolia Down Under turns one this week so go check it out here
Here is a close up
The weather here was unbelievable, we had 75 mph winds which took down the scaffolding on my building, ripped fenching off the roof of the bulding across from me, We had a black out (glad I wasn't in the elevator or you would have heard me whatever state you were in) and the police had both buldings blocked off not allowing cars into the parking lot. trees down all over the place, flooding (well I'm on a peninsula so need I say more) wires are still down, so once I was in, I stayed in, I watched the waves re-claim the beach for as far as I could see from my terrace, the waves were under the boardwalk, and the rock jetty was almost completely submerged. After all that we have gorgeous weather today, in the 60's, wish I could play hookie and go see the parade down 5th Avenue. Happy St. Patricks Day everyone...

Beautiful. Fantastic coloring and colors together. I am catching up on blogs today can you tell. lol So crazy the weather you had and the damage the winds can cause. We get winds like that but not to often. Mostly shingles and fences blow down here. Well and trees, our big one did last year. Glad you had nice weather the next day.
