Pastel Colors

Wow, I can't believe how the weeks are just flying by, I had so much fun on this blog hop I've made so many new friends along the way.  I hope you had as much fun as I did.

And to continue with our Sping theme, this week Franz decided that  we should use pastel colors, so I decided to make a baby card using this adorable image called Bastian with Bear which you can find HERE.

So here is a picture of the card

And the inside of the card

And as many of you know when I make a baby card it  usually means a knit a baby blanket
this is a Debbie Bliss pattern made with Debbie Bliss
Cashmerino wool.  I made this for my BFF to give to her new
little nephew

I hope I inspired someone to join in on the fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with, just don't for get to use one of Mo's images. If you need more inspiration don't forget to visit the rest of the teams blogs they really out did themselves and came up with some great ideas just click HERE to see what they came up with and as Pat always says, don't forget to leave them a little love.

As always, thanks for stopping by my part of the world, and now that you're here why not leave me a little love as well your comments mean so much and always brighten my day.

I am using April for my image.  Isn't she perfect for April Showers, as she waters that beautiful flower from her watering can.

A  close up and an angle view of my card.
I sort of gave it a Hummel look.   Guess my mind is on
Germany since my youngest son will be taking a class there
in a few weeks.

Knitting Note Book

Well, my oh my, another week flew by and it's Thursday again, and this week our ever so talented design team buddy Tracy has decided  challenge us with fabric.   Now for me that really was a challenge cause Tracy "I don't sew"  so I don't have any scraps of fabric lying around the house.  Then I remembered I have tulle and that's fabric right?  So I have just a little bit tucked behind my heart.  So that's what I used for my project.

So this week I made another notebook but this time I used Fairy Needle to go with the theme. and this one is for my good friend Marian, who is one of my knitting buddies.  Her birthday is this week so this is one of the goodies that I will place in her bag along with some yarn and a pattern.  She can use this notebook to write down knitting notes.  You can find this adorable little fairy HERE

So here is a picture of my knitting notebook:

and this week I did the inside of the book:
