I Love You This Much!!!

Suzanne Dean made this great tutorial on using copics to look like those beautiful Scandanavian Magnolia's that are colored with distress inks. You can find it here I have always loved that look and have always wanted to give it a try, but did not want to invest, or find room for more stuff. So this was right up my alley. It was my first attempt and I must say I am very pleased with the result. It was also the first time I used these gorgeous flowers by
Wild Orchid Crafts

This fits the:
Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge: Sentiment
Wild Orchid Crafts: Sentiment
Simon Says: Bingo-3 things in a row: Flower/Ribbon/Die Cut
7 Kids College Fund: Challenge Yourself- My first attempt at using copics to look like distess inks & my first use of WOC Flowers.
Copic Creations: Something New: Flowers, & use of copics to look like distress inks

I used Tilda Wants a Hug, and covered up the Holly Berries in her hair with these pearls so that it would be more appropriate for Valentine's Day. This image reminds me of the days when my kids were young and we used to banter back and forth saying, "I Love This Much"' and of course the kids would try and make their arms wider and say, "No I Love You More, I Love You This Much". I miss those days...

Hi Debbie,

I'm so glad you left me a lovely comment so I could visit you and see this amazing colouring!
You have done a fantastic job with Tilda and she certainly has that distress ink look. I was the same as you I love the distress look but had so much invested in copics that I couldn't justify getting into the distress inks. That was until last week when I caved in :) I still haven't had time to try them yet. If only I knew about this tutorial earlier!

Thanks for stopping by my blog
