Treat Box

This week it's anything but square, a hard one for me. Although I like to think outside the box, when it comes to cards, well, lets just say, I've always stuck to square ones. So thanks Kathleen for making me think "Outside the Box".  I still love you...lol  I thought this pillow box would  be perfect since it can be used for such a variety of things like birthday treat boxes, little thank you's .  All you do is decorate then fill them up with your favorite confection and you're good to go!!!

At first I was going to make a tag, figured that was an easy way out of  not making something square.  So I went through my Cricut cartridges looking for my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge and my hand hit this Easter Cartridge and a light bulb went off since it has a pillow box on it. Only this one has a little bunny cut out on it.  So I covered up with the band (don't tell anyone).  These Pillow Boxes are great since they can be used for anything.   I used this new image from Mo's called Dragon Hugs which I fell in love with the second I saw it you can find HERE  So here goes my Anything But Square

 A close up

Image: Dragon Hugs
Sentiment: Stampin Up
Paper: Stapin Up: So Saffron, Glitter Paper
Extras: Doily, Ribbon, WOC Flowers, SU Tag Punch, Nesties
Image Colored with Copics

A little of my knitting handiwork.  This is a scarf I kntted for myself called the hitchhiker. Such an easy patten to follow, and really didn't take a long time to knit.  I am also in the process of knitting some baby blankets which I will post shortly.

I am entering this in the following challenge

 1. Craft Your Passion: HERE Glitter
 2. Make it Monday: HERE Always Anything Goes
 3. Fab n Funky: HERE Flower Power
 4. ABC Challenge: HERE Happy Birthday
 5. 7 Kids College Fund: HERE Happy Birthday

I hope I inspired someone to join in on the fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with, just don't for get to use one of Mo's images. If you need more inspiration don't forget to visit the rest of the teams blogs they really out did themselves and came up with some great ideas just click HERE to see what they came up with and as Pat always says, don't forget to leave them a little love.

As always, thanks for stopping by my part of the world, and now that you're here why not leave me a little love as well your comments mean so much and always brighten my day.

Hugs Debbie

Haha, it seems you solved the "problem" of making a non square card like me: in making no card! LOL Love your pillow box, the green glitter paper is awesome and the dragon fits perfectly!

Sending hugs across the miles to you GF,

A pillow box, huh? That would be my next Anything but square task for me too:) Looks great and seems (not sure here yet) not so difficult to make. Love the green choice and your beautiful coloring!
Oh, and your scarft looks so peretty and neat! I wonder how many months would take me to get one finish. When I used to knit I always ended up by turning a so called blouse into a blouse for my dolls, or a scarft into a headband. I'm pretty sure that if I tried to make one of those blankets of yours it would turn into a handkerchief by the end of the day...lol.
He...he... sending you hugs Debbie!
