Here Comes Summer - Part 2 of the GD call at Mo's

As the days get warmer, and we approach the long hot days of summer. I love to watch my community come alive. As some of you know, I live in a beach communtiy and have a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean. At this time of year, we always say Rockaway comes alive as people come out of hiding and walk along the boardwalk, play ball, read a good book, or just take a leisurely walk in the sand as the waves come crashing in. I love the beach at this time of year, it is so peaceful, no crowds it's like you have the whole beach to yourself and I immedatley thought of this adorable image from Maurice Manning. I often see little boys and there dogs play along the shore not only looking for shells but for anything else that the surf has washed up. Something I did when my boys were young, Oh how I miss those days.

This card was done for round 2 of the guest designer call over at Mo's Digital Pencil. Last week I did a monochromatic card, and this week the theme is Here Comes Summer. Nothing says summer like a day at the beach. So here is my take on the challenge.

This fits the following challenge(s)
Mo's Digital Pencil Here Comes Summer-GD Part 2
Everybody Art Challenge Flowers

Hope you like it.

Hi, Debbie! Your card is absolutely gorgeous and this image has become one of my favorite since I first saw it on Paola's blog. Never saw it before although my Mo Manning collection is quite big. Loev your coloring and these aqua blues really remind me of the sea and make me feel nostalgic. You lucky woman living on the beach, I'm so envious:)
Adorable card, Debbie, it was a pleasure to come by!
Hugs and have a happy Sunday!
