At the Beach with Dad

Since I have 2 boys, I had to do 2 Father's Day Cards for them to give to Dear Ole Dad. I find I reach for these sets time and time again. They have always been one of my favorite series that Stampin Up did and am so sorry they went to the retirement home.

This card was done for my older son for him to give to his dear ole Dad. It was quite easy since all I did was stamp the image in the versa mark and then put white detail embossing powder and heat embossed.

Bronco Buster

Another retired set that I enjoyed and hated to see go, I've used this set for so many projects. After I stamped the main image, I went over it with the Sanded background stamp. I also distressed the hat with a Stipple Brush by going over it with Creamy Carmel. This was sent to my FIL for Father's day. I had the hat sizzix die for about a year and haven't used it, but it came in handy today,

WOJ Challenge #34-Charlie Builds a Snowman

Well, I have been wanting to join in on the fun for the past few weeks, have everything picked out and then with all the OT at work by the time I get home I am too pooped to pop (only 12 more days of school, yes ladies I'm off for the summer and I'll definately be able to join in on the fun more often). I really put an effort in today to get a few challenges done, so here goes my second challenge for the day.

Happily Ever After

I was asked to make a Wedding card for a colleague at work. This is what I made for her and I hope that she likes it since she is rather fussy. For some reason she wants big cards and I told her the biggest I do is 5 ½ x 5 ½. If by chance she doesn’t like it, I will probably send it off to my niece with a bunch of other cards.
