#157 Autumn Fun

It's Thursday, the days are just passing us by, I can't believe it's time for another one of Mo's challenge and this weeks theme is Autumn Fun and here in New York autumn is definitely in the air.  I love that crispness and the fall colors of the trees.  I need to take a trip upstate or take a trip to Central Park to see the trees in there glory.  With fall comes Halloween, the decorations come out and I enjoy making cards for family and friends and with this new addition to Mo's collection I couldn't resist her  and had to color her right away.  She is called "Teen Witch" and you can find her HERE.  I also decide to drag out my Big Shot Pro and make a Halloween Treat Box so just scoll down to see that as well.

Birthday Tag Book Mo's DT Post # 112

It still Dorcas' turn to be our hostess and she thought it would be a good idea for us to use Banners or Tags on our card or project. Well since I love to dabble in all types of paper projects and I've been dying to use this Pocket Page & Tag Die for my Big Shot Pro, I decided to drag it out and make a Birthday Book. I did the calendars on the computer and did a tag for each month so on one side of the tag will be the dates for birthdays that are from the 1st throught the 15th and on the back of the tag will be the dates for birthdays for the 16 thorugh the 30th or 31st. Just write who's birthday it is on the line provided.

I used Bella Carrying The and the Cake which you can find HERE and HERE My Minds Eye Paper since you need double sided paper for this project flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts which you can find HERE and the ribbon and lace from The Ribbon Girl which you can find HERE

Here is a picture of the Birthday Book:

The book with one of the tags pulled out of the pocket:

Halloween Treat Boxes

Taylor my son's girlfriend and I decided we would craft and make these coffins for Halloween. Let me tell you what a conversation starter these were when people asked us what we did today?, and we answered, We made coffins. You had to see the look on their faces. Especially when one of them said, You do realize I am an ex-New York City Police Officer and currently a a Sheriff in New Jersey. Then we showed him what we made...lol Anyway, these are the two that we made for her nieces. We really had a great time making them and can't wait to craft and bond again. We are really looking forward to it.

This one we did with ghosts, this is the top of the box:

DT post #95 for Mo's-Anything But a Card

Once again it is my turn to host this weeks challenge. I love to dabble in all types of paper projects so I thought "Anything But a Card" would be perfect for this weeks challenge. I took out my Big Shot Pro and used this Match Book Die to make this box. It is larger than the one from Stampin Up so it can be used for so many different things. I made this for my son's girlfriend, she loved the shaker card I did a few weeks ago, so not only did I make another shaker but this little box for her in her favorite color as well. I used the image Flower Girl which you can find HERE isn't she sweet and placed chocolate mints inside. Now who doesn't love chocolate, and when she's done with the chocolate, she can put it on her desk and place anything from paper clips to hair clips inside. So here is my take on this weeks challenge Anything But A Card

Here is a picture of the box closed:

slightly open:

So why not play along I'd love to see what you come up with, and while you're at it don't forget to visit my Design Team Sisters blogs for some more inspiration.. They really are a talented bunch and would love hearing from you. Don't forget you can always get a head start for our projects by just checking out the blog.

Image: Mo's Digital Pencil: Flower Girl
Paper: Reflections Sparkle, Doodlebug Designs
Extras: Big Shot Pro, Match Box Die, Wild Orchid Craft Flowers which you can find HERE, Rhinstones, Ribbons, Doily, Doohicky Die, Butterfly, Dimentionals
Image Colored with Copics

As always, thanks for taking the time to come to my part of the world, now that you're here, I would love hearing from you.

Valentine Treats

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!!!

I saw this adorable Dress Box from Sizzix and knew I had to have it. This is one of there larger 12 x 12 dies made specifically for the Big Shot Pro. I think it would make a perfect treat box for my soon to be nieces bridal shower which will probably be held on June 25th. Not sure what colors I will do for her yet, and also not sure how many I'm making but would love to get a head start since I think it will be close to 100. At the moment, I'm thinking white on white, or what ever color her bridal party is wearing. So need to speak to her to find out...yes she's planning her own shower...

Anyway, I decided to experiment with them on Saturday and made seven of them in pink for my co-workers as a Valentine's Day treat. The black and white one well, I said I was experimenting. I must say I honesty like that one best mush prettier IRL. maybe, I'll go with that type of paper for my niece. The inside has a small box I filled with Valentine M&M's. I used toole for the skirt, and cut out doilies for the lace, my sizzix leaf die for the accent on the flower, and Stampin Up's pearl's for the coller and accent on the toole.

This would also be perfect for a Sweet 16 or any type of girly party favor.

Paper: Stampin Up: Pretty In Pink 12 x 12, Black Sparkle I found at Michaels
Extras: Sizzix Big Shot Pro Dress Box, Toole, Doily Sizzix Leaf Die Cut, Stampin Up Pearls & White Rose.

Thanks for looking, and hope you like it.
